Astrological Stereotypes

After yesterday's blog I got to wondering about how the quotes of celebrities reflect the personality of their Sun signs. Celebrities are just like you and me. They have good days and bad days except on our bad days we don't have TMZ or Perez Hilton hanging around to record every word we utter. We all all know how it is on on bad days...that's when our inner editing machines go on the vacation and nine out of ten times just like a foot approaching a banana peel we will slip and say things we would rather forget we've said.

Bad days for some celebrities is a good thing depending how you look at it. There are some who, similar to a personal computer , will totally opt out of using their brain's edit menu function because they are paid a shit load of money to intentionally step on verbal banana peels. I've compiled an assortment of some celebrity quotes along with the associated Sun sign descriptions as examples. You can be the judge as to whether the celebrity fits the astrological stereotype.

“A woman should be home with the children, building that home and making sure there's a secure family atmosphere”
Mel Gibson

It's interesting that my traditional Capricorn son said almost the same thing when he was 12 years old. He's now married with a new baby and his wife is planning to go back to work after maternity leave. I'm of the opinion that this is the Capricorn male ideal. Capricorns are earth signs and earth sign people take things literally. The Capricorn male sees himself as an authority figure at the head of the table surrounded by the wife and kids. How's that been working out for you so far Mel?

"We have the Bill of Rights. What we need is a Bill of Responsibilities."
Bill Maher

If you were born knowing the rules like every Capricorn does this quote by Bill Maher is a no brain er.

"Press passes can't be that hard to come by if the White House allows that old Arab Helen Thomas to sit within yards of the President."
Ann Coulter

No one personifies the judgemental, opinionated and blunt Sagittarius personality better than this lady. I'm speechless...and I'm a Sag!

"I am invariably late for appointments - sometimes as much as two hours. I've tried to change my ways but the things that make me late are too strong, and too pleasing."
Marilyn Monroe

I've never known a Gemini to be early for anything. It's virtually impossible for them to change their ways...they all have the attention span of a three year old.

Have a great weekend!
